Obituary of Helen A. Naploi

Helen A. Napoli October 24, 2016 Helen A. Napoli, 97, of Syracuse, passed away at Crouse Hospital on Monday, October 24th. She was a proud graduate of Le Moyne College, and was in one of its earliest graduation classes. Helen retired from Niagara Mohawk after serving 30+ years, and enjoyed a successful career with them when she joined its law department, then served as executive secretary to the late Harry G. Slater, and retired after her final position as supervisor of marketing and administration. She will always be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, and her kindness and willingness to always help others in need. She was predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Anna Napoli, her brothers Joseph and Silvio Napoli, and her nephew Richard Napoli. Survivors include nephew, Joseph Napoli of Syracuse, nieces Linda (Richard) Rogers of Syracuse, Sylvia Napoli Kelly of Raleigh, NC, and many cousins.and great-nieces and -nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompei Church, Syracuse, on Friday, at 10AM, with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Our family would like to give special thanks to the 2nd floor staff at the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse who took such wonderful & compassionate care of Helen.
