Obituary of Marsha Marie Adams

Marsha M. (Lamb) Adams, 72, of Syracuse has found her way back to heaven with the Lord from her home. She was comforted by her family at the time of her death. Born and raised in Syracuse and graduate from East Syracuse High School in 1961. She worked at Framers and Traders Life Insurance for a short time. Marsha was a communicate of Blessed Sacrament Church, active with the Cub Scouts of Blessed Sacrament and St. Matthew’s Church; Marsha was also very active in Eastwood Bears Pop Warner Football since 1970 and was the recipient of the JC Smith award in 1997 and the Jack Oddum Volunteer award in 2001. Marsha is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Russell Adams; her father and mother, John and Reba Lamb; and her brother Richard Lamb. Marsha is survived by her children: Russell (Nanette) Adams of Eastwood; Joseph (Marianne) Adams of East Syracuse; Deborah (Charles) Patterson of Parish; Colleen (Ray) Ryan of Clay; and Shannon Adams of Camillus; 6 grandchildren: Matthew and Eliza Patterson; Kyle Adams; Chris and Ben Lawrence; and Alexandra Ryan; 2 great grandchildren: Rowan Patterson and Ben Lawrence Jr.; her brother, Michael Lamb of Minoa, along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held friday at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home located at 3111 James St. Contributions may be made to Eastwood Bears Football Association or to the Blessed Sacrament Outreach program.
