Obituary of Richard H. Beebe

Richard H. Beebe, 83, of Syracuse, died on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. He was a graduate of Vocation High School and a veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Beebe had retired from Onondaga County after 14 years of service. He had formerly worked for 32 years with O’Brien & Gere and Phillips & Associates. He had volunteered with the Lyncourt Little League for 17 years, is a member of the Eastwood Post 1276 American Legion and enjoys golfing and fishing. He is survived by his wife Olga; sons: Bryant & Craig (Cheryl) both of Syracuse; brothers: Ron Beebe and Heinz Gleim; grandchildren: Jaclyn Sherwood, Nicole, Alexandra, Katlyn, Brandon Richard Beebe; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12noon at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with interment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Friends may greet the family from 10-12 before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home, 3111 James St. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the American Cancer Society.
