Obituary of Frederick W. Card

Please share a memory of Frederick to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frederick W. Card December 10, 2015 Fred (Bud) Card of Fremont had a full life of 88 years. He is now reunited with his parents Emma & Edwin, brothers Jack & Jerry (Pat), his loving wife Arlene, and his beloved son Billy. Fred proudly worked as a yardmaster for the railroad for 44 years. He was a veteran of the Army during WWII. Fred really enjoyed his life; especially camping with his family and neighbors, hunting with friends, spending time and traveling with Marie and Pat, fishing at Cape Vincent with Kris and Happy, and Sunday dinners with the Shaws. Later in his life he got great joy out of his dogs, Ginger 1 & 2, and enjoyed the time he and Ginger spent at East Side Manor. Fred had many really good friends. Fred made good memories at James Square; he was well liked by everyone. Thank you to the staff on D North for being so kind to my Dad. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his sister Carol Fehlman; his daughter Cindy Barone; his niece Jill Card; his nephews Kris & Happy O’Donaghy; his granddaughter Erin Wilson; his great grandsons Miles & Jack; along with many friends and family who were important to him. His family will celebrate his life on Tuesday at 9:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minoa. Friends may greet the family from 5-6 on Monday at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. Contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made to your favorite charity.
