Sandra A. Whitmore Obituary
Sandra A. Whitmore, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on March 3, 2026. She had formerly worked as a supervisor at IBM in Syracuse. She was a member of the CNY Genealogy Society, the Lewis-Jefferson County Genealogy Society, and was a former Girl & Cub Scout leader. She was a communicant of St. Daniel’s Church and a member of the Mary & Martha Society. Sandra was a dedicated caregiver for many friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson Whitmore Sr in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Borkowski of Lyncourt; a son, Nelson Whitmore Jr. of Florida; 5 grandchildren: Haley & Troy Borkowski, Alexis, Brooke and Clayton Whitmore.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 11:30am at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. Friends may visit prior to services at 9:30am. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
