Jon was a graduate of Jamesville-Dewitt High School and University at Buffalo, where he received a bachelor's degree in finance. Jon enjoyed spending time at the family summer camp on Limekiln Lake in the Adirondacks, and at the Graham cottage on Pillar Point. He enjoyed snowmobiling, snowboarding, water sports, and a passion for live music concerts.
Jon is survived by his parents, Joel and Karen Graham; his sister, Katelyn (William) Perrine of Homer, NY and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon's gentle humor and loving heart endeared everyone close to him. At family gatherings he stood out as the one with the warmest smile, which brought everyone closer together.
Jon is remembered by his family and friends for his laughter, wit, charm, and his love for each of them. He was a gentle soul with a deep love for music, especially his favorite band Goose. He was known to carry a deck of cards and loved to play a quick game of pitch, and a pickle ball game would always bring a smile to his face.
Jon's love for music lives on in the words of two of his favorite bands, first Goose, a band closest to his heart: "Oh my child, worry no further, lay your burden on me, and I will take your every trouble down to the bottom of this old sea."- This Old Sea - Goose. And with the Grateful Dead; "Hoot owl hoots for a moment it seems, Something big and cold Got ahold of you. Just when everything gets scary, Daddy's come 'round for his darlin' again. Hold my hand with your little fingers. Daddy's loving arms gonna gather you in. Ain't no way the Bogeyman's can get you, you can close your eyes, the world is gonna let you, Your Daddy's here and never will forget you, I will take you home. I will take you home. Gonna carry you back home. In my arms. I will take you home"- I Will Take You Home Grateful Dead.
