Robert “Bob” V. Yormick Jr., 55, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, surrounded by his immediate family and a very close friend.

Born in 1970, Bob was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Talia; his parents, Robert Sr. and Sharon; his sister, Elizabeth; and his brother, Trevor.

Bob’s life cannot be captured in a few short lines, but to those who knew him best, he was a devoted father, a loving son and brother, and a steadfast friend. He was known for his sharp wit, his ability to make people laugh, and his talent for keeping everyone around him on their toes. Above all, Bob had a rare gift for making others smile, leaving an indelible impression on all who crossed his path.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and community.
