MaryAlice Holdridge Maynard, 83, died September 2, 2025, at home in the loving care of her family. Molly was born on June 6, 1942, in Syracuse, NY. She was working and saving for college when a charming Englishman took a room in the house next door; she and Barry were married for 58 wonderful years.
Molly is survived by her daughter, Amy Brown (Timothy), of Marcellus, her son, Alexander (Jeanne Sheldon), of Syracuse, and her grandsons, Jonathan and Matthew, of Syracuse.
Molly was a nimble fingered craftswoman, an avid reader, and a wicked card shark. Food was her love language, and she was in her element preparing feasts for family and friends. She was never happier than when behind the wheel, Barry in the passenger seat, running away to their favorite spots. They are finally reunited on the greatest adventure.
The family will not be holding services, but if you care to make any remembrance, donations can be made to Friends of Montezuma Wetlands Complex.
