Robert D. Weber (Bob), age 97, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on August 31, 2025.

Bob was born on March 12, 1928 in Utica, New York to Leonard Weber and Marion Adelaide Doyle. Bob served in the Navy in 1946. He was married to Sally McNamara in 1953 and they were married for 59 years. Bob and Sally formerly resided in the Westvale area of Syracuse, New York, and were members of the Holy Family Parish. Bob was a security investigator for Verizon. Bob and Sally retired to Fort Myers, Florida and enjoyed many years there with family and friends.

Bob is predeceased by wife, Sally in 2013 and son Robert D. Weber, Jr. in 1983. He is survived by daughter Sharon (Richard) Blatz; grandchildren: Emily (Brian) Swenson and Troy Blatz; sister-in-law Margarita McNamara of Boonville, New York; brother-in-law Robert (Karin) of Rochester, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Bob was also an avid golfer. 

A graveside service will be held at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt, New York on Monday, September 8th, 2025 at 1pm.
