Paul Simone, 65, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, died on Thursday after a long illness and was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. A longtime cab driver, who knew every corner of the city, he is survived by his daughter and son, two brothers, sister and brother-in-law, as well as two grandchildren and a nephew.
