Obituary of Patricia L. (Spadafore) Hayes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear sister Patricia on Friday, May 2, 2025.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Hayes and her parents Anthony and Kathleen Spadafore. 
She was born in Massena, NY on October 24, 1949.  She was a graduate of Potsdam State Teachers College. 
She is survived by her three sisters: Marie Hennings of Mohawk, NY, Margaret Peets of Herkimer, NY and Janet Rockwood of Clay, NY; three nieces; three nephews; several cousins and five step-children.  A special thank you to Patricia’s step-son Tommy Hayes for all his help.
Patricia enjoyed playing Bunco, crosswords puzzles, reading the newspaper and watching the news.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 10:30 am at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St, Syracuse with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Friends may greet the family from 9:30-10:30 before the service at the funeral home.
