In Loving Memory of Aleykutty (Lillykutty) Philip
It is with heavy hearts yet steadfast hope that we announce the passing of Lillykutty, who was called home to be with the Lord on March 20th at the age of 72. Lillykutty was surrounded by her loved ones and entered eternity peacefully.
Born on October 9th, 1952, Lillykutty dedicated her life to serving God and her family. She was a shining example of Christ's love and lived out her faith daily, embodying kindness, humility, and grace.
Lillykutty is survived by her husband Alex and three daughters Rincy, Lincy and Nancy, who take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
She came to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1989 and through her faith her husband and her children came to accept Jesus. Throughout her life, she exemplified the teachings of Christ and passionately shared the Gospel with anyone willing to listen. She was a woman of prayer and would cry out to the Lord daily for the salvation of family members, friends, co-workers and even strangers.
Lillykutty worked as a nurse for over 40 years and retired in 2020. She will be remembered not only for her exceptional skills as a nurse but also for her resilience and her ability to comfort those in their darkest moments. She brought light and faith to families in need, often going above and beyond to ensure every patient was treated with dignity and kindness.
While we grieve the loss of Lillykutty, we rejoice in knowing that she is now in the presence of our Savior Jesus, free from pain and full of joy. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and hope that will continue to inspire us.
Services to celebrate Lillykutty’s life will be held at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 311 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206 on March 25th at 11am.  Friends may greet the family from 10-11am before the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens, 6633 Kinne Rd, Syracuse, NY 13214.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support during this difficult time.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”- 2 Timothy 4:7
