Lorraine Kimmerle, 87 of Syracuse, died on March 11, 2025 in Florida.
She had retired from the Syracuse City School District.  Lorraine was a very generous, honorable and humble person.  She loved life even through adversity.  Her blindness held her back from doing what she wanted to accomplish, however she was always smiling and helping others. 
She was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church and a former member of James Street United Methodist Church.
She was pre-deceased by her parents: Walter Kuehl and Bertha Behling Kuehl and sisters: Irma Barringer and Edith Benzow.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 69 years, Jack; daughter Pamela Esposito; sons: Brian and Jack; granddaughter Alexas Esposito; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:45am in the Eastwood Baptist Church.  Friends may greet the family from 11-11:45am before the service in Church.
