Kurt Raymond Nemier passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 18th, 2025 after a long and courageous cancer battle. He was 56 years old.
Kurt first and foremost loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know he is healed and in perfect peace in heaven now.
He loved his daughters fiercely and was so proud to be their father. He loved planning trips and spending any time he could with his girls.
He was the hardest worker and always busy working on projects around the house. He worked for years in the masonry and restoration business and was one of the best you could find in the field. He took pride in his hard and detailed work, and he put his all into whatever work laid before him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Carol Nemier.
He is survived by his daughters Jessica and Ashley Nemier; former wife and best friend Sharon Swan; brother Scott Nemier; niece Sarah (Zachary) Marsh; nephew Ben (Elizabeth) Nemier; aunt Margaret (Charles) Kinne and cousins.
Kurt will always be known for his kind, loyal, and generous heart. Words cannot begin to express how deeply he will be missed.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow in White Chapel Cemetery.
