Robert (Bob) Francis Joyner, 77, of Leesburg, Florida passed away at UFHealth Hospital on February 21, 2025.  He was born April 26, 1947 in Syracuse, the son of the late James and Clara (Frost) Joyner.

Bob graduated Eastwood High School in 1964 and previously was employed by Paragon Supply, Inc. and Northern Ready Mix & Block Co.

Survived by his wife Susan Hurley Joyner; daughter Saundra (Robert) Cummings; son Robert F. Joyner; grandchildren: Shiloh Joyner, Robert Jacob (RJ) Cummings and Samantha Lee Cummings; siblings: Julie Cantonetti, John (Amy) Joyner, Mary (Rob) Renetta, Theresa (Gary) Markinson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers: James and Martin; sister Emily (Norm) Carver; and daughter-in-law Donna Simpson Joyner.

Bob retired to Florida in 2020 and enjoyed golfing, cruising and chatting with all the neighbors while walking his faithful dog, Whitney.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 22 from 2-4pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with a service at the conclusion.
