Rebeca (Suarez) Kench aged 55 passed away on February 16, 2025, at Upstate Medical University Hospital after a brief but aggressive illness. She was born on June 4, 1969, in Albany, NY. A resident of Cazenovia, NY, she was a graduate of Fayetteville Manlius High School. 
Beca was a mother, sister and friend. After a few years in Kentucky, she came back home to Syracuse to raise her family. 
Preceding Beca in death are her parents Judith (Williams) Suarez and Rev. Peter R. Suarez. She is survived by her stepmother, Elizabeth Suarez of Schenectady, NY; daughter, Phoebe Brackett of Syracuse, NY, and son, Jake Kench of Syracuse, NY; brothers, Peter Suarez of Gulfport, FL; Jon (Azlin) Suarez of Parishville, NY; sister Marna (Earl) Redding of Niskayuna, NY and a niece, and nephews. 
As per Beca's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. 
The family would like to thank Upstate Medical ICU staff who were so kind, caring and compassionate in Beca's final days. Memorial donations in Beca's name may be directed to Upstate Cancer Center, 750 E Adams St, Syracuse, NY 13210 or CazCares, 101 Nelson St., Cazenovia, NY 13035.
