Craig C. Frappier Obituary

Craig Charles Frappier, 80, of Eastwood, passed away on January 14, 2025 at the VA hospital in Syracuse, after a long illness. Craig was born in Syracuse on September 17, 1944 to the late Leo and Marjorie Frappier. Craig served Vietnam with the Marines from 1966 to 1968. Craig retired as an electrician from IBEW local 43 in 1999.

Craig was a past proud leader of Boy Scout troop 96 for many years. He was a member of the Detachment 224 of the Marine Corps League and a member of the 9th Engineer Battalion. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, serving as Eucharist minister and catechist. He volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the palliative care, spiritual care and Emergency department for many years after retirement. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his spouse of 31 years Barbara Frappier; his sons: Martin (Maureen) Frappier, Peter (Toni) Frappier, Jason (Wendy) Delia; daughter Tiffanie (Matthew Evatt) Delia. Craig was blessed with and enjoyed spending time with his 13 grandchildren, Camille, Victoria, Gilbert, Leo, Dominick, Isabella, Alexander, Zachary, Jacob, Wyatt and Hayes. Also survived by his cousin Beverly Schmick and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Craig will be held on January 17th from 4-7 at Goddard- Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, Syracuse 13206. The funeral mass will be Saturday, January 18th at 9:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
