David G. Miller, 77, passed away peacefully in his bed on August 9, 2024.

He was born in Utica, New York on August 14, 1946, the youngest son of Andrew & Rebecca Miller. On February 10, 1968, David married his lifelong best friend and soul mate, Betty Smith.

David was a graduate of Corcoran High School where he lettered in sports. He was an avid golfer and Syracuse University sports fan.

David held many jobs in his youth and ultimately retired from Carrier Corporation with 38 years of service. He was proud of his years with the Sheet Metal Workers Local 527 and his participation in the Q plus team.

David was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Betty; parents: Andy & Reba; sisters: Katherine, Charlene, Cecelia; and a brother Raymond.

He is survived by a son Michael (Tracy) Miller; daughter Cristen Miller; grandchildren: Kayleigh, Veronica and Ivy; great grandchildren Salem and Oliver; and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his dear friend, Michael Clarke, who he cared for like a second son.

Davids final resting place will be Assumption Cemetery.
