On Friday, July 5th, Linda Lee Wells, 76, passed away in Dallas, Texas. Linda was born February 15, 1943 in Buffalo, New York and graduated from The Valley Academy in Syracuse, New York. She worked for General Motors for 30 years. Soon after retirement, she moved to Ormond Beach, Florida. Linda had a passion for helping others and was able to harness that drive as an active member of the Ormond Beach Eagles. Their mandate – “People Helping People” – became her marching orders for many years. She loved her family above all else although Elvis may have been a close second. She enjoyed playing bingo and, like her mother, worked her schedule around bingo nights. Linda was predeceased by her daughter Alice Marie Wells, father Robert Taylor, mother Alice Fournier, and sisters Patricia Cupples and Jana Davis. She is survived by her sons: Sean and Gary, brother: Richard Taylor, sister: Jeanne Zurbruegg, and three grandchildren: Scout, Tyler, and Quentin. Calling hours are Sunday, July 14 from 2-4pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30Am in Pine Plains Cemetery in North Manlius, NY.
