Maria S. Dougal, 103, of Syracuse, passed peacefully in her sleep with a smile on her face on Friday.  She had immigrated from Panama with her two sons.  She retired from Atlas Linen and formerly worked for Syracuse Blue Print and SU.  She was a home maker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, making clothes, playing BINGO a visiting the galleries Downtown.  She attended Our Lady of Pompei Church.  Her greatest concern in life was always the well-being of her family.  She will be fondly remembered and missed by all those that she knew and met in her journey through life.  God will welcome her warmly into Heaven.  Loving, gentle, compassionate lady that will be missed by all those she had met in life.
She is survived by her sons: Alvin and Harley both of Syracuse; daughter Rosalie Rivera of Aberdeen, MD; grandchildren: Isaiah, Jeremiah & Aleeyah Wahdan, Jason & Jasmin Cummings, Justin Dougal, Vasiah Henderson, Marissa Beaman, Danny & Fabian Rivera; and great grandchildren Eli, Aaron & Noah.
Friends may greet the family from 11-12 on Tuesday with service at the conclusion in the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
