Myron S. Steinberg, 76, of Syracuse, died on Saturday at Crouse Hospital.  He had retired from the NY State Thruway Authority.  Myron enjoyed bowling, fishing and loved his dogs: Taffy, Brutus, Beauty and Smokey.  He was a member of the Pulaski Post American Legion and the PACC Fisherman’s Club.  He was predeceased by both his parents Bertha (Siwik) Steinberg in 1986 and Leonard in 1990.
He is survived by his sisters: Barbara Steinberg & Rosemary (John) Bleskoski both of Syracuse; brother Joseph Steinberg of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Myron was such an unbelievably kind man, a gentle giant of a man. Such a heart of not gold, but platinum. You loved your family with all your heart, and we all love you.
