Obituary of Richard C. Mullen

Richard C. “Dick” Mullen, 86, died on Tuesday at his home in Pulaski.  He was a former resident of Eastwood and enjoyed his time at his camp at Montario Point, NY.  Dick was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School and served for 9 years in the Air National Guard.  He had retired from Verizon and was a member of the CWA Union.  He was an avid SU Sports fan and communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Terese in 1995.
Mr. Mullen is survived by 4 daughters: Pat Mullen of Syracuse, Joan (Neal Tubbs) Mullen of Sandy Creek, Mary Beth Mullen Goudreau of Parish, Kitten Mullen of Orlando, FL; a son: Michael (Jodi) Mullen of Oswego; a brother Pip Mullen of North Syracuse; a sister Ann (Peter) Patch of Cicero; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30AM at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home 9AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
