Paul C. Kieffer, 99, of  Liverpool, died on Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Syracuse.  Paul served in the US Navy during WW2 and was a sailor on the Air Craft Carrier USS Wasp (CV-7) and others.  He retired from Gulf Oil Company as a dispatcher.  He was a foster parent with his wife for many children over the years.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Pauline Roesch Kieffer and Frank T. Kieffer, wife Lucille and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son Mark (Sharon) of Liverpool; a brother Robert of Liverpool; grandchildren: Rachel (Brian) Krull, Ryan Kieffer; great grandson Ebin Kieffer and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30am in the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 9am in St. Daniels Church.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 at the funeral home, 1217 N. Salina Street.
