Helen Zych, 82 of Syracuse, a loving Wife, Mother and, homemaker, passed away Monday, June 26.  Helen was born on August 6, 1934 in Syracuse.  Her parents were John and Alexandra Mieczkowski Peczynski.  She graduated from St. Patrick’s High School.  She was married on 7/3/1954 in Sacred Heart Church and was a communicant of Transfiguration Church.
Her family includes her husband William, son William (Susan) of Syracuse; daughter Janet (John) Henry of Manlius; grandchildren: Renee Zych, Matthew Zych (Kellie Cotter) , Breanna (Andrew) Bullard, Kevin Zych, Aubrey Zych, Ryan Henry, and Kelly Henry as well as nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother: Walter Peczynski and sister Wanda Werbeck.
Funeral services will be held at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home Friday July 7 at 9:00 and in Transfiguration Church at 9:30am.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Thursday July 6 from 5 - 7:00pm, in the Funeral Home 3111 James St. Memorial contributions may be made to Transfiguration Church.
The family would like to thank the Iroquois Nursing Home for the many kindnesses extended to our Mother.
