Marga Kabala, 86, of Syracuse, died on February 7, 2017 in Columbia, TN.  She was born in Vienenburg, Germany and retired in 1990 from the Onondaga County Commissioner of Jurors Office and was formerly employed by Midstate Market.  Mrs. Kabala was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and a member since 1951 of the Overseas Wives Club.  She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph and grandson Zachary.
Ms. Kabala is survived by her daughter Mary Anne (George) Gorski of Columbia, TN; sons: John (Mary) of San Francisco, CA, Anthony (Patricia) of Buffalo; grandchildren: Christine Craig, William Gorski, Meghann Kabala, Anthony Kabala Jr., Amy Kloc; great grandchildren: Benjamin, Ella, Ethan, Hailie, Caleb, Hudson, Emiliana, Hadrian; and several nieces nephews and cousins.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, May 8 at 9:30am in Transfiguration Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Calling hours are Sunday May 7, from 2-5pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
