Beverly J. Roser, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at James Square. She was born on November 4, 1932 to Edward D. and Rose Korthas Roser and was a proud, lifelong resident of Syracuse. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Bernice Kuhn and Marion Bylsma and her brother Edward Donald Roser. She was married to the late John C. (Buzz) Tindall, Jr. for 31 years. She is survived by a son, Mark Tindall (Sally Bjornsen) of Seattle, WA and a daughter, Christine (Tindall) Ohlsen (Nils W. Ohlsen) of Liberty Lake, WA, five grandchildren (Kai Hoyt, Kalen Tindall, Cameron Tindall, Sierra Ohlsen and Emma Ohlsen) as well as several nieces and nephews. Beverly graduated from North High School in 1950 and went on to work for Onondaga Savings Bank prior to marrying. Bev was an avid bowler and music aficionado. She was a proficient pianist and sang in church choir and community choruses. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7pm at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 11:00am at Luther Memorial Church, N. Syracuse. Private burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of CNY.
