Palma G. Mann, 68, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, died on Friday at Upstate Hospital. Palma had graduated from Maria Regina College, Syracuse University and the Crouse School of Nursing. She had worked in various nursing and geriatric care positions. Palma as touched all of us, family, friends and total strangers, in an always enthusiastic and selfless way. She was truly a remarkable woman. Heaven is now an even better place because of her presence.
She was pre-deceased by her parents John and Palma Costa.
Palma is survived by her husband of 31 years, Thomas; and several cousins and their extended families.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 2 at 10:30am in the Blessed Sacrament Church.
